I wish I'd thought of this

I am a hot sauce junkie. Completely and totally. My husband introduced me to Dave's Insanity one day, and we haven't turned back since.

I was poking around online last night and came across an article published in Inc. in January 07.

Long article short, a branding company in Cincinnati sent a series of hostage notes and Polariods, threatening Dave's "first born" with being handcuffed to a basement radiator, tortured with David Hasselhoff's Greatest Hits.

I thought it was brilliant. It got Dave's attention, it gave the branding company the opportunity to not only strut it's stuff, but do it with a fun product with a huge payoff. (getting ink in inc is phenomenal!)

I always think that the attention getting tactics like these are so slick, as long as you can back it up with enough strategic firepower to continue to wow the client.

Dave! If you come across this: the branding thing was awesome. Want to do the same with your consumer media coverage?? CALL ME. ;)
